Jason Demmon

Jason Demmon is a composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and singer originally from East Tennessee. He currently resides in New York City where you can find him in the studio creating new sounds and culture.

As a performer, Jason has toured internationally and shared the stage and studio with many artists  including Jon Hendricks, Ashton Moore, The Marvins, Derrick Gardner, Wynton Marsalis, Cee -Lo Green, Dean Frasier, and Sunny Wilkinson.  His compositions have featured many notable artists including Brock Lindow (36 Crazyfists), Chad Ruhlig (For The Fallen Dreams) and Jake Taylor (In Hearts Wake).

Jason’s works are featured as brand-defining sonic cues and theme songs on Television shows and radio. His compositions are currently being performed by recording artists at music festivals like Common GroundDirtfest, and Rockstar Mayhem Festival for tens of thousands of music fans. His compositions were recently featured in the television shows Orange is the New Black, Better Things, and in Revolver Magazine’s Golden Gods Awards.  Jason is a GRAMMY-nominated recording artist and was recognized in the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards for his outstanding work on Isaacs Meets Isaac.

Jason Demmon is a songwriter and composer living in New York City,  has recorded in studios across the globe, from Kingston, Jamaica to Detroit, MI and Brooklyn, NY.  He has been a part of many performance groups including The Marvins, Beats and Angles, Check Your Shoes, The Mad Note, RaINation, Reverend Right Time and the First Cuzins of Funk, ChristASaurus, Ashton Moore Band, Tareq Almulaifi Band, BAAD Juju with Lulu Fall, and most recently his own solo project. He is the owner of JD Brooklyn, a  music publishing and production company.
